HUGE and Penton Launch People-Focused Redesign

BROOKLYN — Penton Media, a leading business-to-business media company in the U.S., has aligned with digital agency HUGE for a best-in-class, wide-scale redesign of their corporate website.

Key to the project’s success was surfacing Penton Media’s most successful brands, which span a multitude of industries and markets. HUGE’s solution was an intuitive funneling system, which allows visitors to move seamlessly from the corporate site to specific publications while tying in related trade shows, conferences, and products. HUGE provided all the design and development for this endeavor, including a DotNetNuke platform implementation as well as the creation of advanced modules and the integration of Penton Media’s content.

Another critical component was redefining Penton.com’s look and feel to establish Penton Media as a leader in its space and more accurately reflect the company’s people-oriented focus. The new site pairs eye-catching black-and-white photography, done by award-winning Vogue photographer Rick Haylor, with quotes from some of the company’s most knowledgeable editors. The effect is clean, fresh, and personable. The human factor has been brought to the forefront.
