BROOKLYN — HUGE's new vision for American University was named "Best Web Site of Industry" in the Education category by the Web Marketing Association. This is the first time an institution of higher education has won this category since the award's inception.
In order to launch the 2009 redesign, HUGE first analyzed American University's original site and created a new vision for american.edu. This new approach based the site on the user’s experience and not the institution's organizational chart. The visual and structural redesign of American.edu now incorporates the university’s brand and sub brands, while providing the shared tools needed for consistent delivery of new content and performance.
